FBI searched Donald Trump Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Here's what we know

Federal agents on Monday searched former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida, as part of a federal investigation into allegations he removed classified documents from the White House when he left office, two people familiar with the search said. Trump did not say why the agents appeared to be at his Florida property but, in an emailed statement, added that "this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate." Trump is under investigation by the Justice Department  for removing presidential records from the White House  and storing them at Mar-a-Lago for up to a year, a potentially serious violation of the law if the records were classified. Trump has denounced that investigation, saying he was entitled to take the records. More:  What's happening at Trump's Mar-a-Lago home? Was the FBI there? Answers to your questions Trump also claimed that agents searched his safe, but did not elaborate. “They even broke into my safe,”

Bemoaning the tech companies who, in previous years, have  removed contents of Hunter Biden’s 2020 laptop leak  from the internet, Carlson informed his users that the newest leak spread quickly on 4chan, calling the anonymous forum “some sort of website that’s basically not very moderated, and it’s kinda the website of last resort for people who want to get information out there but can’t, because everything is so completely censored at this point.” (4chan moderators did eventually delete the Biden iCloud leak data

Back channel communication between Trump and Putin on Ukraine attacks

Remember when President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner  talked with the Russian ambassador in December 2016 about establishing a back channel for communications.  The talk between Kushner and the Russian envoy about communications was focused on the U.S. response to the crisis in Syria and other policy-related matters. The former director of the National Security Agency and the CIA, Gen. Michael Hayden, called Kushner’s request for a communications back channel “off the map."  “What manner of ignorance, chaos, hubris, suspicion, contempt, would you have to have to think that doing this with the Russian ambassador was a good or appropriate idea?” Hayden said.  “This is off the map,” Hayden said. “I know of no other experience like this in our history, certainly within my life experience.”  That was then, but now, Trump is back in the news again h aving a back channel communication with Putin and then praising Vladimir Putin as “very savvy” shortly before Ru
