  Wifiblast International   is the maker of all original wifiblast wifi range extenders. Due to its success, copycats of the product started permeating online. In 2020 Wifiblast International won a copyright infringement suit against a chinese company,  Wodaxun Technology  in a $2M lawsuit for using the name wifiblast. Wifiblast International  has won a copyright infringement lawsuit against Wodaxun Technology.  Wifiblast International filed a lawsuit against Wodaxun Technology in October 2020 over claims that the Chinese company used the company's brand name "Wifiblast" without permission. Documents from Central District Court state that Wodaxun Technology and Wifiblast International reached a judgement in May 2021. Wodaxun Technology will pay Wifiblast International $2,00,000.
